Join Thrivent, brick & tin and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama for the inaugural "Four Course Sessions." On "Thrivent Thursdays" in October, participants will enjoy good food and great company while learning about wise giving strategies during breast cancer awareness month. Attend one virtual session or all four - the option is yours!
Thursday, October 1, 2020: The First Taste: Creating Change & Cocktails will provide an introduction to local giving, as well as offer attendees the chance to attend a virtual mixology class with nonalcoholic ingredients shipped right to their home (one box per household - does not include three spirits used in cocktails: light, dark and tequila. Participants should plan to purchase alcoholic items separately for use during the class).
Thursday, October 8, 2020: The Lunch Hour: Leveling Up Your Giving Strategy will feature a seminar on reevaluating giving strategies, ensuring that participants are maximizing the reach of their charitable gifts in a tax wise manner. This session includes one boxed lunch option from brick & tin, available for pickup at the Mountain Brook location prior to the start of the session. Complimentary delivery also available. Participants can choose from a Chick & Tin Panini with side salad, a Brisket Panini with side soup or a Classic Salad.
Thursday, October 15, 2020: The Main Course: Understanding Giving Strategies & Legacy Giving is an evening session designed to help participants think differently about leaving a legacy of generosity, as well as ensuring that participants are maximizing the reach of their charitable gifts in a tax wise manner. This session includes one boxed dinner option from brick & tin, available for pickup at the Mountain Brook location prior to the start of the session. Complimentary delivery also available. Participants can choose from a Brisket Panini with side soup, a Bluebird Salad or a Mac & Cheese with side salad.
Thursday, October 22, 2020: Something Sweet: A Celebration of Community will commemorate the progress and community built during the Four Course Sessions, as well as offer participants the chance to compete in breakout trivia sessions. This session includes one boxed dessert option from brick & tin and a bag of Thrivent coffee, available for pickup at the Mountain Brook location prior to the start of the session. Participants can choose between two cookies: Brown Butter Coconut and Chocolate Chip, or a slice of pie.
Tickets are $25 per session, with all courses being broadcast via Zoom. Upon registration, a calendar hold will be sent. The session link will be emailed to ticket holders 24 hours in advance of the session.
