This October, "Blue Goes Pink!" at ARC Realty to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama!
This year's goal for Blue Goes Pink is $25,000 - and we hope you will help us get there!
How can you help?
- ARC Realty will donate $25 for every new property listing that happens during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, accepting donations, and encouraging support for breast cancer research.
- Throughout October, ARC Realty will hold a weekly fundraising activity or partner with a local partner restaurant who will donate a portion of their proceeds from their Blue Goes Pink night to support our campaign.
- October 7th - El Barrio (West Homewood location): portion of lunch sales to BCRFA
- October 14th - El Royale: portion of lunch sales to BCRFA
- October 21st - Paramount: portion of lunch sales to BCRFA
- October 28th - Phil Sandovals: portion of dinner sales to BCRFA
- All Month Long - Cala Coffee: accepting BCRFA donations when ordering throughout October
Why it Matters
- 1 in 8 women and 1 in 726 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
- Breast cancer survival rates have increased 44% from 1989 to 2023. This increase is believed to be the result of early and improved detection and treatment options—thanks in part to research—and increased awareness.
- As of January 2026, there are more than 4 million women with a history of breast cancer in the U.S. This includes women currently being treated and women who have finished treatment.
- Last year, the BCRFA invested $1.2 million to advance lifesaving breast cancer research across Alabama. ARC Realty is proud to help make that possible.
