As my mother is a survivor of breast cancer, this research is near and dear to my heart. No child should ever have to go through watching their mother battle a disease such as this. My the Lord's mercy my mom fought and won, and is currently in her 9th year of remission. I am thankful every day for that mercy; however, I know there are many others who haven't won the battle.
